The annual Construction Marketing STAR™ awards recognize and honor marketing excellence of construction industry professionals across a broad range of functional marketing disciplines.
STAR and SUPERSTAR recognition will be awarded for sixteen categories and 78 sub-categories, along with a BEST in SHOW. The new Construction Marketer of the Year™ Awards recognize companies, brands or individuals for marketing excellence with regional and national winners. Judging criteria includes both execution and results.

ABOUT THE CMA STAR AWARDS |
The annual CONSTRUCTION MARKETING STAR Awards, and CONSTRUCTION MARKETER of the YEAR Awards are produced by the Construction Marketing Association (CMA) to recognize marketing effectiveness in construction-related industries in North America.
Entries are judged by a blue ribbon panel of experienced, volunteer members of the CMA from across the continent.
Winners are recognized with a frame-quality certificate and optional gold-plated statuette from the same firm that manufactures the Oscar® awards.
Major award categories include advertising, brand identity, collateral, internet, direct, publicity, packaging, merchandising, trade shows and events, promotions, video, photography, employee communications, integrated campaigns and the Construction Marketer of the Year, which can be a company, brand or individual.
When applicable, you may enter an execution in more than one category.

ENTRY FEES, DEADLINES AND WINNER NOTIFICATION |
Entry fees by the early entry deadline of September 7, 2013 are $65 per entry for members, $80 per entry for non-members. After September 7th, entry fees are $85 per entry for members, $100 per entry for non-members.
Entries must be date-stamped or postmarked by the final *EXTENDED* entry deadline of September 28, 2013. To enter online using a credit card, CLICK HERE.
To enter by mail, please download the Award Entry Form (PDF). Mail-in entry fees may be paid by check (made payable to Construction Marketing Association) or by credit card. For credit card payment, please call (630) 868-5061 for processing.
Judging will be completed by October 31, 2013. Winners will be notified
within 7 business days. STAR, SUPERSTAR and BEST of SHOW winners will receive a commemorative certificate, with the option to purchase a statuette/trophy designed and manufactured by the same firm that produces the Oscar® and other prestigious awards.
To order statuettes/trophies and/or additional certificates, CLICK HERE to link to order form. Additional statuettes and certificates may be purchased to share with your clients, marketing team or other key people involved in the project. BEST in SHOW Winners will receive one complimentary 24K Gold statuette.
By charging only winners for their statuettes, the STAR awards is able to keep entry fees low, and more accessible to many companies, agencies and brands. |

Winning entries for the CMA STAR awards are selected by a blue ribbon panel of volunteer members from the Construction Marketing Association with at least five (5) years of construction marketing industry experience.
Entries are judged using an objective scale for both quality of execution, and measures of marketing results.
Judges will be recused of judging competitor brands.
All decisions of the judges are final. A category may have multiple STAR and SUPERSTAR winners, or may have none.

The CMA STAR awards are exclusively for marketing programs and campaigns in the construction industry.
Entry must have been produced after January 2011 (almost a 2-year window).
Applicants do not have to be members of the Construction Marketing Association, although entry fees are higher for non-members.
Entries must be postmarked by the final entry deadline for that year (September 21, 2013).
